Incentives at Memorial Elementary
School Wide When Memorial Elementary reaches the three major goals at 1,000 2,000 or 3,000 paws a school wide reward is scheduled.
Class Room Each homeroom can work toward bronze, silver and eventually gold by earning more paws. These certificates are announced on WMEM, and the classroom chooses how to celebrate.
Individual Level Each month an individual winner is drawn from every grade to bring a friend for a lunch pizza party. Paws awarded to individual students automatically enter them in the pizza party raffle.

- Decreases of incidences of problem behavior (Lewis, Sugai, & Colvin, 1998; Sadler, 2000; Turnbull et al., 2002)
- Reduction in office referrals for problem behavior (Nakasato, 2000; Nelson, Martella, & Martella, 2002; Turnbull et al., 2002)
- Reduction of in-school and out of school suspensions (Turnbull et al., 2002)
- Reduction in school expulsions (Sadler, 2000).
